Personal Identity
- Understand how to describe personal details such as name, age, nationality and place of residence.
- Be able to talk about physical appearance using relevant terms and adjectives.
- Know how to extend description to personality traits. Discuss yourself and others using relevant adjectives and phrases.
- Develop vocab pertaining to hobbies and interests. Be ready to discuss what you like/dislike to do in your free time.
- Understand how to express likes, dislikes, preferences and desires.
My Family
- Be able to identify and use the correct Chinese words for family members.
- Understand how to describe your family structure: how many people, their age, their relationships with each other, etc.
- Be prepared to discuss family relationships. Express the quality of the relationships, whether they are positive, negative, close or distant.
- Know how to present your family's daily routines or habits.
- Be able to discuss your family traditions or customs.
My Friends
- Understand how to describe friendships and relationships to others. Apply verbs and adjectives to express the strength and nature of these relationships.
