Everyday activities

Daily Routine

• Understand the various time indicators in Gujarati such as સવારે (morning), બપોરે (afternoon), સાંજે (evening), રાત્રે (night).

• Be familiar with verbs indicating daily activities such as ઉઠવું (to wake up), નાનાવું (to bathe), જમવું (to eat), વાંચવું (to read), શીખવું (to learn), રમવું (to play).

• Be able to express frequency of daily activities using phrases like રોજ (everyday), અઠવાડિયે એક વાર (once a week), મહિનામાંથી બે વાર (twice a month).

School and Study

• Understand vocabulary related to school subjects, such as ગણિત (mathematics), વિજ્ઞાન (science), ભૂગોળ (geography), ભારતીય સાહિત્ય (Indian literature).

• Be familiar with actions done in school like અધ્યયન કરવું (to study), નોંધ લેવી (to take notes), પ્રયોગ કરવો (to experiment), પુસ્તકો વાંચવા (to read books).

• Understand phrases to indicate timing of school and study related activities such as પહેલો સમય (first period), બાળમેળવી સમય (lunch break), ગૃહકાર્ય સમય (homework time).

Leisure and Hobbies

• Know the vocabulary for different types of hobbies including વાચન (reading), સંગીત સંગ્રહ (music collection), ફોટોગ્રાફી(photography), વૃક્ષારોપણ (gardening), રંગોળી બનાવવું (drawing rangoli).

• Be familiar with terms related to entertainment and relaxation such as મસ્તી (fun), ફિલ્મો જોવા (watching films), સંગીત સાંભળવા (listening to music), આરામ કરવા (to relax).

• Understand terms related to meeting friends and socializing such as મિત્રો સાથે મળવું (meeting with friends), બીજાના ઘરે જવું (visiting someone's home), ઉજવણીઓમાં જવું (going to parties).
