How do I explore progress by subject and date?

The Parent Portal lets you move from a child’s overall progress to a subject, then explore the dates and topic ratings behind the graph.

Open a child’s progress

1. Log in to the Parent Portal.
2. On Home, find the child and select View.
3. To choose another connected child, select Back to home, then View beside their name.

Choose a subject

On the child’s overview, find Confidence by subject and select the subject you want to explore. The subject page shows Progress & study habits for that course.

Below the graphs, select:

• Ratings breakdown to explore topics grouped by confidence.
• Module breakdown to explore them by module.

The subject heading also shows how many modules are in the current plan and how many topics are marked Done for now.

Change the date range

• On Confidence over time, choose 4 weeks or 12 weeks.
• When more than one date is recorded, move the slider below the graph to see the figures for a particular date. On a pointer device, moving over the graph also reveals a date’s values.
• Open View chart data & how it’s measured for the date-by-date table and tracking information.
• On Study activity, choose 5 weeks for weekly totals or 12 months for monthly totals.

The confidence and activity cards use their own date controls. Selecting a subject limits its activity and confidence views to that course.

Use Refresh data to request the latest available figures. If a graph has only its first recorded point, more ratings will build its history. Read what these progress measures mean before comparing percentages.
