Add another way to sign in to your student account

Connect another sign-in method from inside your existing account so you can use it to access the same study data.

1. Sign in to the student app with your current working method.
2. Open Settings → Account information → Sign-in methods.
3. Select Connect beside an available method.
4. For Email and password, enter an email address, choose a password of at least eight characters, confirm it and select Connect.
5. For Google or Apple, complete the provider’s sign-in steps when offered. Apple connection is available on iOS and web.
6. Return to Sign-in methods and check that the method now shows a connected address.

If you later use Disconnect, the app asks you to confirm. It only offers disconnection when another sign-in method remains. Disconnecting a method does not delete your Adapt account or study data.

If a method cannot be connected, read the error shown or contact support. Do not create a second student account just to add another login method.
